Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
Once a paper is submitted online, the Editor in the relevant field conducts an initial assessment to determine its suitability for the journal. After this primary screening, the manuscript is sent to expert reviewers for evaluation.
The review process typically takes about four to six weeks, during which reviewers provide detailed feedback. The reviewers' reports are then presented at an Editorial Board meeting for further assessment.
Based on the review process and the Editorial Boards evaluation, a decision is made to either request revisions or reject the paper. If the comments and revisions are insufficient for a final decision, the manuscript may be sent to a final referee for an additional round of evaluation.
If revisions are requested, the author must submit a revised version of the manuscript along with a detailed rebuttal letter addressing each reviewers comment. The Editorial Board reviews the revised submission and, if satisfactory, grants final acceptance.
This entire review and decision-making process takes approximately 90 days.
Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes copy-editing, formatting, and final proofreading before publication, which takes an additional 20 days. Thus, the total time from submission to publication is approximately 120 days.
