The Hobby Club encompasses various activities varying from Photography to Robotics and Music to Literary interests. Each club conducts various events throughout the year like inviting eminent people for lectures and demonstrations. Various competitions are also conducted by the clubs, sessions are also organized to disseminate knowledge and skills in popular areas."

A photograph is a thought, a feeling, a wish, a whim; because it is not just a captured moment, it’s the unfolding of a whole new story. The journey from the selection of a gate to the processing of the image is a pilgrimage in itself and the joy of beholding one’s finished photograph is just unparalleled. GITA Photography Club is not just a club, it’s second home for its members where students meet like-minded people over a good photograph and loads of stimulating debate.

The English Debating and Literary Club is the club which creates orators out of engineers and promotes literary awareness and knowledge of the English language. The club helps providing vent to students desiring to express themselves by way of elocution, debates, creative writing, and etc. while at the same time acquiring knowledge by way of frequent discourses and discussions. The club trains its students in various areas like creative writing, extempore speeches, debates, symposia, quizzing, poetry recitations, declamations, essay writing, poetic recitation, slogan writing, etc by conducting discussions about various literature related activities, workshops / seminars on literature writing, etc.

Robotics is the branch of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. The concept of creating machines that can operate autonomously dates back to classical times, but research into the functionality and potential uses of robots did not grow substantially until the 20th century. Throughout history, robotics has been often seen to mimic human behavior, and often manage tasks in a similar fashion. Today, robotics is a rapidly growing field, as technological advances continue, research, design, and building new robots serve various practical purposes, whether domestically, commercially, or militarily. Having said that, the Robotics Club at GITA offers indispensible guidance, workshops and tutorials along with tools, equipments, components and workspace. The group meets periodically to discuss over matters such as the management of the workspace, workshops, projects and competitions.

We believe that music is not only some notes and bits, it is made up of feelings of hearts. It is a club in which people meet and enjoy music and let their feelings out from their heart and express it through music. The club is proud of the diverse forms of music that it portrays including classical, semi-classical, ghazals, folk, fusion, light vocals, Indi- pop and various instrumentals.
